Designers are showing new versions of the crop top for Resort right now, so in the interest of future preparation, take note of how ladies on the red carpet have mastered the revealing look. Rihanna took the idea sporty in a River Island cropped top and patchwork boyfriend denim. Diane Kruger and Bella Thorne approached the concept in feminine florals, with Prabal Gurung trousers on the former with a fitted crop and a bold evening look by Katie Ermilio on the latter. Gwen Stefani played the vamp in leather trousers and a cream blouse by Balmain and Zoe Saldana channeled a modern day Audrey Hepburn in a gray Calvin Klein look. Consider it five ways to successfully pull off a crop — the toned midriff is up to you.
